AdventHealth Senior Education Series

Mercy Road and Be the Change Today for Seniors are excited to host a series of engaging and educational events designed specifically for seniors in our community. We have invited AdventHealth to lead these events, bringing their expertise to present a range of topics aimed at empowering and supporting our elderly population through enriching activities and informative sessions.

AdventHealth, with its mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ, joins these efforts by offering holistic care that addresses the body, mind, and spirit. With over 92,000 dedicated caregivers across various facilities and care sites, AdventHealth is committed to making communities healthier and more connected. Their unified system includes 51 hospital campuses and numerous outpatient clinics, all working together to provide individualized and compassionate care.

Mercy Road is a non-profit community development organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for residents in Seminole County and surrounding areas. Their mission is to identify individuals in need, provide necessary support, and connect them with essential care services. By extending the healing ministry of King Jesus, Mercy Road aspires to embody the role of the “Good Samaritan” (Luke 10:29-37), bringing flourishing and compassion to the Central Florida area. Their efforts improve lives by offering mercy and support to those who need it most.

Be the Change Today for Seniors is a heartfelt partnership between Be the Change Today Foundation and Mercy Road Initiatives. This initiative focuses on honoring and celebrating the wisdom and experiences of our elderly community. Their programs are designed to enhance the lives of seniors by providing companionship, healthcare assistance, and opportunities for continued growth. Their vision is to ensure that every senior enjoys their golden years with dignity, joy, and the support they deserve. By joining this movement, community members can help create a future where every elderly individual feels valued, respected, and cared for.

The upcoming events, held at The HUB @ Northland Church in Longwood, FL, will run from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM and include the following sessions:

  • 7/25 – Know Your Numbers: Learn how to manage vital health statistics.

Inspired by her strong Christian upbringing, she aims to lead with a servant’s heart, extending compassion and prayer to help Seminole County thrive.
